Are you an Advanced Practitioner or at that level? Then this could be the hands-on practical surgery course for you. Specifically designed for Certificate Holders and Advanced Practitioners, to help you refine and develop your surgical skills. If you have less experience we have many other courses for you.

We will be looking at the indications for procedures, key practical tips on how to get the best outcomes, and how to recognise and manage possible complications that may arise. Following the essential theory you will be performing these procedures in a practical wet lab setting, where you’ll get direct help from expert and approachable tutors. Leave with new skills and the confidence you need to use them effectively in your practice.

What you’ll learn:-

We will be performing procedures from head to tail, including:-

• Salivary gland resection (lateral and ventral approach)
• Lateral wall resection
• Total ear canal ablation and lateral bulla osteotomy
• Laryngeal tie back (unilateral arytenoid lateralization)
• Incisional Gastropexy
• Diaphragmatic hernia repair
• Rapid splenectomy
• Scrotal urethrostomy
• Anal Sacculectomy
