In this session we’ll guide you round the ‘landmarks’ – including the large abdominal vessels- used to consistently locate the pancreas, adrenals and lymph nodes. We’ll familiarise you with the normal ultrasound appearance of these structures and improve your confidence in recognising the typical appearance of commonly encountered pathology.
Session 6 – Introduction to Ultrasound Guided Sampling Techniques. Many of the abnormalities identified during ultrasound examination of the canine and feline abdomen are non-specific.
