- Ultrasound terminology
- The basic principles of ultrasound
- Getting to grips with the ultrasound machine and probes
- How to locate the bladder, kidneys, spleen, liver, gall bladder and prostate and recognise normal appearance
- Pregnancy diagnosis and identification of pyometra
- Recognising appearance of common diseases affecting the bladder, kidneys, spleen, liver and prostate
- Ultrasound vs. contrast radiography in the evaluation of the urinary tract
- Extensive hands on scanning sessions where you can develop your skills with expert help and guidance
