Session 1

Getting Started – Setting up Clinics in Practice/Puppy and Kitten Parties

 

Running nurse clinics is a great way to build relationships with your clients, generate revenue for your practice and really benefit the day to day lives of your patients.  Thinking about how to set up these clinics can be a daunting task and session 1 aims to provide you with the essential knowledge required to set up and confidently run various clinics. This session will also cover the first of the clinic types in the series; puppy and kitten parties.

Session 2

Well Pet Clinics

 

Well pet clinics are a great opportunity for us to help educate owners and provide invaluable advice on preventative health care.  Running these clinics will help to build the bond clients have to your practice.
The three types of clinics we will focus on in this session are; junior clinics, dental hygiene check ups and senior clinics.  We will discuss the benefits of running these clinics, the specific nutritional needs, the pitfalls and potential difficulties to be prepared for and also run through some case studies of these clinics in action.

Session 3

Obesity and Mobility Clinics

Sadly not all of our patients are well pets and for patients suffering from obesity or mobility issues, and their owners, the benefits our attending our clinics can be life changing.
This session, the final of the series, will provide an overview of these clinics including the benefits, nutritional requirements, the typical set up and running of these sessions and some case study examples of clinics run in the past.

What you’ll learn:

  • All about running successful mobility clinics
  • How to approach obese pet and how to run obesity clinics
  • Nutritional considerations and advice
  • Follow up clinics
