This mini-series is aimed at those wanting to brush up on and develop their skills in equine reproduction, prior to the next breeding season. It provides a comprehensive overview of key topics in current clinical equine reproduction. The first webinar covers mare reproduction from pre-breeding reproductive soundness examination to pregnancy diagnosis, including diagnostic techniques; artificial insemination with fresh, chilled and frozen semen, post-breeding assessment and treatments, and methods of pregnancy diagnosis. The second webinar covers stallion reproduction, including biosecurity, health test requirements; how to collect and process semen for fresh and chilled use, and common stallion reproductive problems seen in practice. The third webinar concentrates on more advanced techniques in equine reproduction, with a focus on embryo transfer, including assessment of donors and recipients; embryo flushing; embryo transfer; and chilled embryo shipment.
