Session 1

Arthroscopic equipment and its use

This webinar is specifically designed for complete beginners to arthroscopy. A detailed introduction into the equipment required for veterinary arthroscopy will be given along with tips on care and maintenance. We will look at theatre set up as well as practicalities of equipment use. The role of arthroscopy in veterinary orthopaedics will be discussed with case studies.

Session 2

First steps in arthroscopy

This webinar is aimed to help you get started with arthroscopy in practice. We will take look at how access to the elbow and shoulder is achieved and how common mistakes can be avoided. There will be detailed discussion on examination of the elbow and shoulder joint. Recognition of common joint diseases will be demonstrated through case studies.

Session 3

Improving your arthroscopy skills

This webinar will look at arthroscopic intervention in joint disease. Common disease conditions of the shoulder and elbow will be introduced and the role of arthroscopy in their management discussed. Through case studies we will familiarise you with surgical techniques used in arthroscopic surgery.

  • Detailed discussion of elbow and shoulder joint disease and how it is managed
  • The role of arthroscopy in the management of elbow and shoulder disease
  • Disease conditions of other joints where arthroscopy may be indicated
