  • Understanding the central nervous system and how complications can be assessed
  • Managing respiratory complications
  • Managing cardiovascular complications
  • Managing reflux/regurgitation
  • Managing hypothermia
  • Managing complications during recovery from anaesthesia
Session 3

Ventilating patients under anaesthesia

What you’ll learn:

  • Briefly review relevant respiratory physiology
  • Review commonly used ventilators
  • Creating a ventilation plan for each patient
  • Monitoring a ventilated patient
  • Managing ventilator related complications
  • Case studies on some ventilated patients
