FAQ Will I be able to do referral endodontic treatment afterwards?

The course is designed to provide the information, both theory and practical, you need to initiate your journey in modern endodontics, including the wet lab procedures you will perform. Einstein once said ‘Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience. You need experience to gain wisdom.’ As with human dentists and Specialist vets, to achieve a high level of competence trainees should practice on extracted teeth and, under the guidance of an expert, hone the skills they have learnt.

Experience and training required to attend this course:

1. The ability to take predictably good dental radiographs.

2. Further qualification or equivalent training in general veterinary dentistry (ideally Certificate or similar).

3. Familiarity with dental restorative materials*.

*If you are not familiar with materials it is strongly advised that you attend the Restorative  Dentistry course first to obtain the requisite knowledge and skills.
