Are you an Advanced Practitioner or at a similar level? Then this could be the hands-on practical surgery course for you. Specifically designed for vets with significant soft tissue surgery experience, to help you further refine and develop your surgical skills.

We will be looking at the indications for procedures, key practical tips on how to get the best outcomes, and how to recognise and manage possible complications that may arise. Following the essential theory you will be performing these procedures in a practical wet lab setting, where you’ll get direct help from expert and approachable tutors. Leave with new skills and the confidence you need to use them effectively in your practice.

What you’ll learn:-

We will be performing procedures from head to tail, including:-

• Salivary gland resection (lateral and ventral approach)
• Lateral wall resection
• Total ear canal ablation and lateral bulla osteotomy
• Laryngeal tie back (unilateral arytenoid lateralization)
• Nephrectomy
• Perineal Hernia
• Cholecystectomy
• Scrotal urethrostomy
• Anal Sacculectomy
